It's been a while since I wrote anything here, whoops!
Merry Christmas family updates
Tori & Robb are looking for a new apartment & jobs here in Vancouver, we're really excited about that! They've been babysitting Robb's nieces and nephews a lot, & figuring out their next steps while enjoying Omega their German Shepherd.
Spencer & Kiana and the boys moved from Springville up to Providence (next to Logan Utah) and are enjoying having family close, fixing up the new-to-them house, & Kiana is coaching her jump rope team while Spencer is loving working for a start up that provides a software suite for musicians.
Sherry & Johannes and the kids moved from the New Orleans area to St. Louis for Johannes's residency at Barnes Jewish hospital. They really love their home & neighborhood there and expect to stay in the area long term. Sherry is still working for the data company & looking forward to new challenges on the horizon, she joined a local community choir to have an outlet while Joi is so busy.
Mike & Shavonne moved from the Atlanta area to Charlestown where she grew up. They love their new home & the kids are making new friends at school & church, Mike still works for Knights of Columbus as an actuary while Shavonne started teaching & performing music again. They're only 4 hours from Sherry so the cousins are able to play quite a bit.
Lisa & Damon have been busy working, traveling to visit all the grandchildren, & getting fatter (New Year's resolutions?!). Damon has also been able to spend a lot of time with his sister who's battling cancer. Lisa cares for our aging cat Autumn and gets outside to take pictures occasionally. We visited Mt. Rainier for the first time this year, and plan to go back soon!
